A new study advocates up to 5 cups of coffee

The latest studies on caffeine point to more health benefits that coffee consumption can produce.
It's found that young people who drink between three and five cups of coffee a day are less likely to die young from a variety of different illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes,  suicide and Parkinson Neurological disease. The findings were not entirely clear, but the benefits of coffee could be connected with its ability to reduce insulin resistance.

Though the leader of the study Ming Ding of Harvard school of public health was excited by the results was clear that more research would be required.    

The sample size was of 208,000 people over 30 years, during the study 19,525 women died and 12,432 men died from a range of causes. Coffee consumption was not connected to the number of cancer deaths, the analyses took into account potential confounding factors such as Smoking, Body Mass Index (BMI), Physical Activity, Alcohol Consumption and other dietary factors.

"This study provides further evidence that moderate consumption of coffee may confer health benefits in terms of reducing premature death due to several diseases"
