Dear Eve, Les & Jo
Thank you once again for choosing Sightsavers as a beneficiary of your Annual Golf Day. We really appreciate your support which will have a transformative impact on the lives of our beneficiaries.
Your support can help to restore the sight of more people like Muslima (pictured opposite). Muslima had suffered with cataract in both eyes since she was a baby. She could only see a few feet in front of her and couldn't stand bright light. When she read, she held the book right up to her face to see the words .

Muslima was just one of many people to receive sight restoring cataract surgery earlier this year. At home the day after her operation, she could already see more clearly.

Muslima's vision will improve still further with her second operation, opening up new horizons for both her and her family.
Thank you once again for your support - it is greatly appreciated. If you would like any further information about our work, please do not hesitate to contact us. I will be delighted to hear from you.

Dear Eve,
I write to thank you and Masteroast for your wonderful donation of £1,030.00. The generosity of the players at your golf day is very much appreciated and has meant that we continue to raise much needed funds for our Rwandan projects.
We will of course keep in close contact with the Masteroast team and continue to update on the various projects we showed Alicia and Marie Anne in the spring.

With very grateful thanks once again

Yours  Sincerely,

Charles Trace

Coffee Morning 2017
Our 2nd ever Macmillan Coffee Morning, this year held in the Masteroast Training Room. Trained members of staff were on hand to make cappuccinos, lattes, espressos and Americanos to order which proved incredibly popular. Once again the Masteroast team of bakers didn’t disappoint and there was a wealth of delicious homemade cakes and savoury treats on offer.
We are extremely grateful to everyone that came and supported us – Masteroast staff and local businesses including Toolfix, Buckles Solicitors, Lindum, Plantation Coffee, Marlow Gardner & Cooke, Carters Garage – and thanks to their generosity we were able to raise £417.20, a really fantastic amount.

Thank you!

Sunflower Project
Sunflower Trail: Children from St Mark’s primary school and volunteers from Emmanuel Baptist Church in Swanage bagged up 150 sunflowers as part of The Arts Development Company’s work with Durlston Country Park. The sunflower bags have been placed along the path from Herston to Durlston to guide people along the 1.5-mile route, which is hard to follow in places.

‘The sunflowers will bring a bright and warm feeling to passers-by who are trying to find their way,’ said Macy, aged 11.
The flowers were all grown from seeds planted earlier in the year by every child at St Mark’s and people in the Herston area. The soil was donated by Eco Sustainable Solutions of Christchurch and the jute coffee sacks were given by coffee companies from Lincoln and Masteroast.

Photo shows Taylor, age 9, helping to plant the sunflowers.
